Move over, Stray-Rod. We’ve got F-Rod!

So many rods to discuss as controversy continues to swirl around superstar Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez.

His wife, Cynthia Rodriguez, stayed surprisingly cool a month ago when reports of A-Rod’s philandering hit the press.

But she may have flipped her lid this week when she went to a game in The Bronx wearing a tight-fitting tank top bearing this on the back:

“F*%k you.”

Given that this was on the back of the normally composed Cynthia Rodriguez, many were taken aback… especially those seated behind her.

The obscene phrase was visible to many fans - kids included - as she, their 2-year-old daughter, Natasha, and another woman took their seats.

“[One] father, was so embarrassed, he got up and left and took his son,” who appeared to be about 10 years old, a fan said.

“I mean this kid was right in back of Cynthia Rodriguez. His nose must have been about 4 inches away from the words ‘F*%k you.’”

Cynthia Rodriguez’s F-word antics violate Yankee policy, which prohibits any banners or signs that are not in “good taste” and warns that anyone “using foul language” or “making obscene gestures” may be ejected.

Still, when fans let security know about Cynthia Rodriguez’s classy four-letter garment yesterday, nothing was done about it.

“It was noted by police and security,” one fan said. “I guess you don’t kick A-Rod’s wife out of the game.”

Cynthia’s etiquette comes after she was humiliated by her straying hubby’s jetting around the U.S. and Canada with a busty, blond Las Vegas stripper and Playboy wannabe named Joslyn Noel Morse.

Is that who the tank top’s message is directed at? Or is it the media? Brian Cashman? Derek Jeter? A-Rod himself? We may never know.

The life of professional wrestler Chris Benoit came to a tragic end over the weekend.

The WWE superstar reportedly killed his wife and seven-year old son over the weekend before taking his own life on Monday. The three bodies were discovered around 4 p.m. yesterday in the family’s suburban Atlanta home.

“I’m comfortable with our belief that this is a murder-suicide,” Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard said Tuesday.

The bodies were found in three rooms, reports The Atlanta Journal Constitution. Autopsies were planned for Tuesday.

“The details, when they come out,” said Ballard, “are going to prove a little bizarre.”

Benoit’s employer, World Wrestling Entertainment, said on its Website Tuesday that Benoit had sent “several curious text messages” to friends, but police on Tuesday said they had identified only one.

Fayette Sheriff’s Lt. Tommy Pope confirmed a text message had been sent from Benoit’s cellphone at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, but he declined to disclose the message’s content or recipient.

Authorities initially had trouble getting to the home because of two large German shepherds on the property, WWE said. Sheriff’s deputies were standing guard at the home on Tuesday morning, keeping back the media and the onlookers.

Benoit was found in the home’s weight room, his wife in an office and his son in an upstairs bedroom.

Benoit failed to appear at Saturday’s live wrestling event in Beaumont, Texas., and at WWE’s “Vengeance: Night of Champions” in Houston Sunday night. WWE said Benoit had a “family emergency.”

The WWE issued a statement Monday night:

“Chris was beloved among his fellow Superstars, and was a favorite among WWE fans for his unbelievable athleticism and wrestling ability. He always took great pride in his performance, and always showed respect for the business he loved, for his peers and towards his fans. This is a terrible tragedy and an unbearable loss. WWE extends its sincere condolences and prayers to the Benoit family and loved ones in this time of tragedy.”

In a heartwarming interview, former reality TV bad boy Jason Wahler came clean and faced his demons following four arrests in four different states that landed his punk ass (luckily) in rehab.

Towards the end of a tearful interview with People, Jason Wahler dropped an interesting piece of information: that he is dating Katja Decker-Sadowski (pictured), a freshman tennis player at USC.

Keeping in line with other girls Wahler has dated, such as Lauren Conrad, she appears to be a cutie. And she would surely beat LC’s cute little fashion-loving, club-hopping ass on the tennis court.

Katja Decker-Sadowski went 9-5 in singles during the fall, reaching the ITA West Regional Consolation final and the Fall Desert Classic semifinals. She also went 3-2 in doubles, according to her USC tennis bio.

A 2006 graduate of The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Fla., Katja was named the Florida Times-Union Athlete of the Semester in 2005… Katja won two national championships in doubles at Bolles and won state titles in 2004 and 2005.

Katja Decker-Sadowski (full name Katherine Marie Decker-Sadowski) was born on July 6, 1988, and lists Martina Hingis as her biggest sports hero. Not shabby. She’s no Roger Federer… but is much better looking.

She’s likely to be up there in cuteness with Zion Wade, the daughter of Dwayne Wade and the former Siohvaughn Funches.

Or Bryce Maximus James, the second son born to LeBron James and his high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson, earlier this month.

Golf god Tiger Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren, welcomed their first child, daughter Sam Alexis, the golfer announced Monday.

“Both Elin and Sam are doing well and resting peacefully,” Tiger Woods wrote.

“We want to thank our doctors and the hospital staff for all their dedicated and hard work. This is truly a special time in our lives and we look forward to introducing Sam to our family and friends over the next few weeks. We thank everyone for their well wishes and continued respect of our privacy.”

The couple’s first child was born less than 24 hours after Woods finished second in the U.S. Open, one shot behind Angel Cabrera, on Sunday.

Woods announced the pregnancy on his 31st birthday in December, saying, “I have always wanted to be a dad. I just wish my father could be around to share the experience.”

His father, Earl Woods, passed away earlier in 2006.

Woods and Nordegren, a Swedish model and former nanny to Jesper Parnevik who he met at the 2001 British Open, were married in 2005.

That’s right. In the issue of Playboy that hit newsstands June 8, fans of swimming and beautiful women finally got to see Amanda Beard nude.

Sports fans - along with almost any dudes with a heartbeat - have been waiting for this moment since Beard won her first Olympic Gold Medal at age 14.

We know that sounds creepy, but come on. She’s well into her 20s now. And we’re sick of writing about hot chicks watching sports. How about babes who can flat out dominate!

But as a swimmer who has won seven Olympic medals, a nude Amanda Beard in Playboy is not without controversy in the swimming community.

In fact, Swimming World Magazine says that talk of Amanda Beard nude is full-on “dominating discussion among the swimming community.”

Then again, what else does said community really have to talking about? But seriously folks. Is posing in Playboy really such a big deal?

It all depends on your opinion, we suppose. But we have little doubt that Alex Rodriguez will be picking up a copy.

He’s hitting .238 in the past week and has cooled off considerably since his record-setting April, but the last week was even tougher on Alex Rodriguez than the box scores show.

Last weekend in Boston, Red Sox fans (below) greeted the slugger with masks representing stripper Joslyn Noel Morse, who the New York Post reports he was spotted in Toronto with at an all-nude club.

The “Stray-Rod” scandal put a strain on married A-Rod’s relationship with wife Cynthia Rodriguez, who left their East Side pad with two suitcases, refusing to speak with reporters, after the story broke.

However, Alex and Cynthia were seen in Boston prior to the Yankees’ weekend series with the Red Sox and appeared to be in good spirits the next day.

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade and his wife Siohvaughn, welcomed a son, Zion, in Chicago on Tuesday.

“We are really happy and everyone is healthy,” Wade said on his website.

Zion was born at 8:45 p.m. and weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces. He was 21 inches long. This is the second son for the couple, who are already parents to a 5-year-old son, Zaire.

Wade and Siohvaughn, both 25, are former high school sweethearts who reside in South Florida. They chose to deliver the baby in their home state of Illinois to be close to both of their families.

One of People magazine’s most beautiful athletes in 2005, Wade will learn on June 26 during the BET Awards ‘07 whether he wins the best male athlete prize during a ceremony to be held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Siohvaughn is founder and president of the A Woman’s Worth Foundation in Chicago and Miami, which executes leadership and life skills programs for at-risk girls.

If celebrity gossip blogs are to believed - and why wouldn’t they be? - then Reggie Bush has a new girlfriend.

It’s one you’ve probably heard of, albeit not on any athletic field. Indeed, Bush has reportedly been getting it on with socialit, and sex tape star, Kim Kardashian. The two were spotted grinding and making out at a club over the weekend.

The two were introduced last year when Paris Hilton was dating Bush’s USC teammate, Matt Leinart. So we’re not sure if Reggie should thank his former quarterback or punch him in the stomach.

Because, seriously, Reggie? The sloppy seconds of Ray J is the best you can do? You’re a Heisman Trophy winner! Act like it.

Both CM Punk and multiple-time all-star and National League Comeback Player of the Year Nomar Garciaparra share a passion for their sports and for competition. Despite his accomplishments, the veteran Garciaparra is one of the most humble players in baseball and doesn’t mind passing on his knowledge to younger players.
