There are many great hairdos in the NFL right now, but it is hard to pick the top one. There are so many different styles they can be hard to compare, but we will sure try.
First up is Green Bay linebacker Clay Matthews. His hair looks like it would be more suited on the head of someone from Whitesnake, but the linebacker made it to the Pro Bowl in just his second year. He couldn’t compete however because he was busy helping his team win the Super Bowl. I guess the rock star hair works.
Next up is Troy Polamalu, the obvious choice. His hair is the opposite of Clay Matthews. Polamalu has a mane of hair like a lions. When he hits a receiver coming across the middle the hair puffs out to exaggerate the force of the hit. When he intercepts the ball his hear streaks behind him like a streamer. His hair this season however, did not help him win the Super Bowl.
All in all I would have to say Polamalu has the better head of hair. It adds to his game, exaggerating everything he does. On the other hand, Matthews did win the Super Bowl. Who knows if the hair aided his team in the big game? I guess it is all part of the mystery of NFL hair.
